Clean, rustic, great food. One of the easier huts to get to. Not above treeline but close to 4 4000 foot peaks.
Such an awesome spot! Very clean spot to rest your legs and refuel. Always enjoy chatting with other hikers. Very grateful for this place.
Very cold, but I went in mid-October, as snow fell on the hike up. It's rustic, but the crew was great, just like at all the AMC hits that I have visited. You don't go here expecting to be pampered, but those type of people are typically weeded out in the hour and a half climb to get there in the first place.
A great Hut to stay for the night in one of the bunks or on the camping pads they also have available. The hike to Lake of the Clouds presents and immediate ascent up a rock wall once you get back on the trail so this is a great place to stop and rest before trekking on
They have bathrooms and free drinking water. In the mountains that's pretty fantastic. 5/5 stars.
Stopped in during a beautiful hike day. Didn’t stay but for a snack and coffee. But it’s such a neat place! The staff was really friendly and kind.
This hut is very cool. Not so many views unless you are on the nearby summit. If you ever do the hike make sure to go to Mount Jackson which is not far out of the way and has stunning views and the Gray Jays on top of the mountain eat from your hand.

First hut visit ever. Was told this is one of the biggest huts in existence. And i believe it there are 12 rooms. Large bathroom 30 person common area. And 10 tent sites.
Love to visit the AMC High Huts when I am in the area. I always pick up my hut t-shirt to document my visit. I also love the hot chocolate & brownies made by the hut croo.
